Congratulations to Katrice & Nathan married recently. Their wedding ceremony and reception was at Sirromet Winery and it was simply perfect.

I found Nathan and his mates searching for a beer in the Brisbane CBD, a difficult challenge before 11am. Finally success, some moments to relax and have a chat.

Katrice chose to prepare at Mt Cotton, just a few minutes away from Sirromet. This certainly makes it easier to travel to the ceremony. I arrived to a house full of activity, hair and makeup underway, kids, family. You could feel the excitement in the air.

Time to dress and wow, it’s all getting very real. Lacing up a bridal gown is often a challenge for the bridesmaids, today, they had a photo on Katrice’s iPhone to show how it should look.

Katrice and the girls looked absolutely gorgeous and glamorous, look out Nathan!

The ceremony was at the Laguna at Sirromet, guests mingled with Nathan before the ceremony. It’s always interesting watching the groom before the ceremony, nervous laughs, excitement building waiting for the bride to arrive.

And so she did. The rumble of Nathan’s HSV Clubsport announced the girls were here. Down the steps, bathed in light, time to get married.

At the end of the ceremony thee were hugs and kisses for guests, time to relax and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and hospitality at Sirromet.
