What would you do to get the shot? Would you lie down in long grass in a paddock to get a fabulous image? I did….
I was at Boonah a week or so ago photographing Lee and Joe’s wedding. We entered a beautiful paddock with long green grass, what an awesome location it would be. I stomped around in my RM’s making lots of noise, my “paddock dance” would have been a funniest home video moment for sure. Then I lay down and hid my lens below the grass…. cue the cold shivers….
Nothing happened. All is good.
We are returning to our cars, I hear a scream from the girls, there is a snake right in front of the bridal car driver’s door. Tim the driver to the rescue. Tim is part of a country family so this snake is quickly jettisoned to another paddock.
Where did that snake come from… I shudder to think.
I hope you enjoy the photos above, I go to great lengths to get them!
so totally worth it! Beautiful images JR
