Being a wedding photographer, I’m blessed to do a job that I absolutely love. At every wedding, I get to witness, document and share intimate moments in people’s lives.

As you can imagine, my photo library is filled with images that show how important the people we love are to us. At last count, I have more than 150,000 images in my photo library.

I often get to scroll through collections of images photos from wedding days past, instantly reminded of “that moment” at each wedding. That’s the good thing about photos, especially emotive candid ones, they transport you back in time and remind you how you and others felt.

Cute moments! This image is from Bridget and Michael’s wedding after everyone was ready at Quay West Hotel. Bridget’s flower girls had just received a special gift.

I’m sure brides rehearse the walking down the aisle moment in their minds many times before the wedding. You just can’t tell what’s going to happen in reality. This image is from Jodie and Peter’s wedding at her parent’s farm on the Sunshine Coast.

Stacey and Daniel chose the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron for their wedding, this image is at the end of their wedding ceremony.

Wedding day mornings, for the guys it’s time to chill out and hopefully note get too nervous. Dan and the guys were playing with the dogs in the backyard.

I love this candid image from Irma and Siggy’s wedding ceremony. “Get that ring on Irma!”

I always like to build in time for the bridal party to chat and have a drink at the bridal party location shoot. Rob and Sanja’s Macedonian wedding was filled wit tradition and dancing.

This candid image is during Travis and Tara’s wedding reception at Sails Restaurant Noosa. I’m always on the lookout for emotive moments like this.

The excitement after the wedding receiving congratulations from guests is one of my favourite parts of a wedding day. This image is from Jodie and Peter’s wedding.

We photographers call it “One Tee Hill” at Maleny. This image is from Jana and Michael’s wedding at Maleny and Montville. I love it so much it’s a big canvas print in my Gallery. It really brings the outside in.

Laurel Avenue Chelmer is a gorgeous tree lined street with traditional Brisbane architecture perfect for classic images.

We caught the last of the light on our way to Lee and Joe’s wedding reception in Boonah.

Photographing Katrice and Nathan’s wedding at Sirromet Winery was a blast. This image is from our bridal party shoot amongst the vines. I’m often asked what the vines will be like at different times of the year. Of course the weather can affect the amount of foliage, this image was captured in early May.

Late afternoon at Sirromet Winery at Kristen and Stuart’s wedding. Sirromet is fabulous for weddings and wedding photos as there are so many locations to use on the property.

Irma and Siggy’s wedding was a hoot with lots of laughs all day. This moment is as we are returning from our location shoot in a paddock. Irma’s challenge at hand is to cross a cattle grid in heels!

You’d never believe from this sunset that there was a few hours of torrential rain in the morning of Jodie and Peter’s wedding day. Thankfully, it all cleared away!

Anastasia and Nick leave the Greek Orthodox Church of St George South Brisbane and get showered in rice and rose petals…

Jessica and Dan chose the Palazzo Versace Hotel to prepare for their wedding before joining their guests for their wedding reception at Vanitas.

Amy and Kerry’s wedding was a very emotional day, I love this raw moment after the wedding as Amy is congratulated by someone special.

Anastasia and Nick had time to relax with their bridal party at the Barracks between their wedding ceremony and wedding reception. Good times surrounded by people you love, something tasty to eat and a cool drink, things are all good!

As we were heading back to Spicers Clovelly Estate for the reception, the heaven’s opened with a torrential 10 minute downpour. By the time we arrived at Clovelly Esate, the rain had stopped. Some days you just have to dodge the showers.

A father’s love for his daughter… This candid image is from Sara and Dean’s wedding day. Sara has just come down stairs in her wedding gown to be greeted by her dad. Wow!

Who loves a crokenbush wedding cake? ME!!! This image is from Travis and Tara’s wedding at Sails Restaurant Noosa. Their lunchtime reception was a relaxed affair with family and special friends. Give me some of that crokenbush!

Amy and Kerry share a laugh. Their Sirromet winery wedding was a fun filled day, yes there were happy tears too! For thse wanting to know, this is what the vines looked like in mid August.
