Our congrats to Vicki and Ian for a wonderful wedding day. Vicki and Ian returned to Brisbane for their intimate wedding to be surrounded by special friends

My brief was for candid emotive photos as formalities would be minimal, Vicki and Ian would be preparing  together at the Brisbane Conrad Treasury Hotel before meeting guests at the Brisbane Powerhouse for the morning wedding ceremony. Vicki looked absolutely stunning in a 1940’s inspired wedding dress.

Once everyone had arrived, time to start the ceremony. Thanks to marriage celebrant Lisa Blackmore who conducted the ceremony. With the “formalities”over, there were hugs aplenty especially from old friends.

The Brisbane Powerhouse is one of my favourite locations for taking photos, there are so many interesting spots to use. We used a few before heading off for the lunchtime reception.

Leaving the Powerhouse was not as easy as usual, right outside today was Jan Power’s Farmers Market. A short stroll through the market and they were on their way.

Next stop, Philip Johnson’s e’cco Bistro & Bar for the lunchtime reception. One of my favourite Brisbane restaurants, I wonder what Philip has put on the menu for Vicki & Ian?
