I met Steven and Deana for their engagement portrait recently, casual environmental portraiture was the theme.
Excited to show you your portraits later this week guys, see you soon!

Alisha and Nathan were our favourite kind of couple right from the start: they were referred from not one but two of our past couples! Nathan had been in Renae & Paul’s bridal party a few years back, and John had a great time capturing their special day. Then last year Paul’s sister Melissa married her fella Pat, and John and Melinda both went along to create some really amazing memories for Mel & Pat. So Alisha & Nathan’s day started out with some old friends and a great feeling right from the beginning!
Alisha’s stunning dress was from Winnie Bridal and the girls got ready with the help from the ladies at The Powder Room at the super stylish Emporium Hotel. Nathan watched on as Alisha walked down the aisle towards him, and family and friends were lucky to witness the beautiful ceremony at Corpus Christi Church at Nundah.
After the ceremony, the bridal party boarded a huge limo from Brisbane VIP Limousines and headed to the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens for their photo shoot in amongst the bamboo. Then it was off to Victoria Park for a sit-down dinner amongst the elegantly-designed tables.
Unfortunately, Samson the Schnauzer didn’t quite make it along to the wedding day, but at least we had already taken some really cute photos of him at Alisha & Nathan’s engagement shoot!
Alisha & Nathan, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day… we can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos when you get back from your honeymoon!
Ok so it is the weekend and I have a wedding tomorrow Sunday which is usually my day to cook something so today will be my day to cook. It is raining and grey outside so the kitchen is a fine place to be.
Been inspired by MasterChef lately, love their MasterClass on a Friday night. I used a recipe for Pizza Bianca with Potato and Anchovies. Made the dough myself using the recipe for Basic Pizza Dough. We had to adapt the recipe to suit what we had in the house but the end result was simply awesome. Try the recipe for yourselves, and have fun in the kitchen.
