Wow Brisbane, what happened while I was away? Busy photographing throughout Europe during 2009 my return to Brisbane this year has been eye-opening to say the least. The development that has occurred is amazing. For one, there is this new bridge linking the city with GOMA. “The Kurilpa Bridge” is an amalgamation of poles, cables and concrete, a form totally foreign to my diet of old buildings and little villages in Europe. Having never photographed around GOMA and the Kurilpa Bridge, I thought, lets road test it with an engagement portrait!
Alison and Bryan are getting married later this year; we are excited to be photographing the wedding. For the engagement portrait, I met Alison and Bryan near GOMA before walking the “Kurilpa” with them. The images here are some of our favourites, my European adventures have inspired me to see everything in Brisbane as new again, it is so refreshing.
Thanks Alison and Bryan for such a wonderful engagement session with you!
