John Reyment entered the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) Queensland Division awards and walked away with an impressive array of awards including the prestigious 2010 Epson AIPP Queensland Documentary Photographer of the Year award.
A Master Photographer, John received eight print awards including a coveted Gold Disitnction, three Silver Distinctions and four Silvers. His Gold Distinction award was one of only three awarded across the state. The Epson AIPP Queensland awards received 545 prints from the state’s top professional photographers. Entries were individually critiqued and scored via a scrupulous peer-review judging process to determine the highest-scoring prints across the different categories. The judging process was undertaken by some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s best photographers.
John’s entries came from his portfolio of images he took while living in Europe in 2009. While in Europe, he used his skills as a documentary photographer to capture real moments in daily life. John is now applying this same documentary eye to his work for his Australian clients.
Thanks go to Ted’s Corporate Government & Professional division for sponsoring John’s award.
