If you know Caitlin and Michael, you know they are getting married, their wedding is going to be fabulous and I’m so excited to be their wedding photographer and photograph it for them next year.

But I’m getting way ahead of myself… we recently spent some time at Mt Cootha and I photographed them for their engagement portrait. It was a cracker of a Brisbane winter’s afternoon, how unusual for Brisbane this rainy winter!

What’s your favourite ice cream flavour? Our shoot began with an ice cream at the Summit, with the magnificent view of Brisbane behind. No wonder there are always tourist buses and visitors to Brisbane there every day, the view is awesome.

I know a spot a bit further up the mountain that gives a more natural bushland feel to the photos and it’s away from the tourists so we headed up there. The sun played began playing possum with us, sometimes in, sometimes out. As you can see i the photos, Caitlin looks amazing, Michael, you even look OK too mate.

Caitlin, Michael, it was a pleasure to spend time with you, get to know you more and create some great images. Let’s get together real soon in our Gallery and Lounge to see the rest of the photos.
