The “breaking of the bread” ceremony with Sanja’s dad Stojan and Rob’s dad Frank. This predicts who will wear the pants in the family. Both dads took this very seriously, a lot of strategising was undertaken beforehand to ensure their half of the bread was bigger and their daughter/son will be the boss.
Rob and Sanja were married at the Brisbane Golf Club, Tennyson.
After the wedding, Rob and Sanja and their bridal party celebrated at a private home in Chelmer before joining guests for their reception.
If there is an enduring memory of their wedding reception, it was the dancing. Guests danced all night!

Yes, it’s a year ago today that they were married, where has the year gone? It seems like just a couple of months ago I was surrounded by so many people dancing all day. Their wedding was a blend of Macedonian and Australian cultures, their day included lots of Macedonian wedding traditions. I had a ball photographing all the elements of their wedding.
