The invitation says a lunch reception at Philip Johnson’s e’cco Bistro & Bar will follow Vicki and Ian’s wedding ceremony and so it did. On arrival guests enjoyed drinks and canapés at the bar.

e’cco looked so pretty, beautifully styled with two long tables. I could tell this would be the scene for a wonderful afternoon.

My brief from Vicki and Ian was to document the day, candid emotive photographs of their reception would be perfect. I love seeing old friends catching up and enjoying time together, these always make great moments to photograph.

The reception was big on chat, good food and wine and small on formality. It was  a long lunch which everyone enjoyed.

Philip and the team at e’cco did a top job too; I have been dining at e’cco for many years and it remains one of my favourite restaurants and a perfect venue for a lunch wedding reception.
